Here is the tiered platter of goodness. My favorite part was the sticker of the Mad Hatter:) There was this crazy-delicious chocolate cake hiding amongst the fruit, which was easily in the top 5 cakes I've had!
The rest of the platter included:
Alice’s strawberry tea bread
“Off with their heads!” cranberry orange scone
Cheshire cat crumpet
“Never too late” chocolate cake
“Never too late” chocolate cake
Caterpillar mushroom meringue
Hedgehog macaroon
The Queen’s red rose lemon cupcake
Cinnamon sugar scepter
Down the rabbit hole fresh fruit
Pink flamingo smoked salmon crostini
Pink flamingo smoked salmon crostini
White rabbit carrot tea sandwich
Bread and butterflies chicken tea sandwich
Tweedledee’s raspberry pinwheel tea sandwich
Tweedledum’s vegetarian quiche
Mrs. Pig’s sausage roll
Everything was great and the 3 of us that went were not able to finish it. I would probably go back for a special occasion, but not regularly...it was a bit spendy;)
Looks amazing!! How does it stack up to Alice's Tea Cup in NYC? :)
ReplyDeleteActually...I think I prefer Alice's in NYC...the scones and sandwiches were much better:)
ReplyDeleteFUN FUN FUN!! This may sound really weird, but after you posted about your NYC Tea experience I had a dream I was in NY with my family and I HAD to find that tea place. That is the only time I have had blog related dreams. Crazy huh?
ReplyDeleteI think it is because this place and that place look so fun and delish. Love it!
Haha, that is hilarious!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks awesome :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for that business to base their menu off of Alice and Wonderland!! I love it. I really want to see that movie too, I'm trying to convince Nick to come with me :)
ReplyDeleteoh what a fun place to go!
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to try that place! After your review, I think I'm going to try to take my lil sis when she visits next week.
